Memory Art Pieces

This piece is a collage of fabric, vintage lace, a hankie, shells,buttons and a photo printed onto fabric. It was placed into a beautiful frame. My dear friend Roberta loves the beach and flowers so I combined a shell printed fabric with a flower made out of shells.

Antique velvet flowers, tapestry and lace compliment the elegance of this photo.

I created this box in loving memory of my Mom, Joan. Wasn’t she just adorable. I used moss, seed pods and butterfly wings that I collected in the woods.

This piece was created by taking a photo copy of a loved one and applying gesso to it. I then peeled away the paper leaving behind a translucent image which was applied to a embellished piece of paper.

I love to take photos and print them onto fabric that you can slightly see through. It gives the piece dimension. The frayed edges adds an antiqued feel.
